VHF Voice Calls - Mayday

A short summary of some possible VHF Radio Calls. If you've got a DSC-Radio with a linked GPS, you may prefere sending the Mayday by pressing a single button; the DSC-Radio will transmit the Mayday automatically with an accurate position. In the meantime all modern yachts should have a DSC-Radio.

Normal Radio Call

More informally it would be this way:

The Mayday - the distress alert
